Go to page 106 or so. Will the Governor propose to reallocate NYS affordable housing programs for a new program or use a mix of existing funds and new funds? For example, the transfer of Mitchell-Lama projects to HCR is expected to produce and leverage funding to revitalize units. The potential for new housing programs are suggested. At what expense to existing programs we currently use?
The Governor Proposes using Americorps Workers and a Regional competition/ selection of communities in need of revitalization. How does this combine with affordable housing?
